I Have No Willpower.

None absolutely i swear. I caved and signed up for a Hello Kitty e-mail address!!! Aarrghhh.....CUTENESS will be my DOWNFALL....it's insanity i tell you. I also sewed up something cute but haven't had the time to upload photos...but hopefully sometime later in the week so do check back.

unicef

Midterms are coming up. I haven't cracked the spine of any of my texts yet. The only thing close to cracking is my credit card. *sigh*. I've been job hunting but it seems that the less i have, the more i end up spending. Plus there aren't many places hiring at the moment.

A friend of mine went job hunting with me afterclass on friday...we ended up shopping...*oops* But in my defense, the sweater was marked down from $50 to only $14.99 and another from $30 to $9.99!! I mean honestly, who in the right shopaholic mind wouldn't snatch those babies up?! And might i make another justification that i haven't added to my yarn stash in quite a long while nor am i using my student loan for anything but to help pay for tuition and books?

Crap and on top of this i have CPR C/first aid and SportAid certificates/classes to pay for.*sigh* And athletic tape/prowrap doesn't come cheap either, i need to practice but at about 1/3 a roll per tape job.....you might as well send me off to "Bumtown/Hoboville" now since everyone who graduates with a BSc apparently can't find any jobs in their chosen fields anyhoo. :( I've considered selling some of my knit stuff online but the time put into it just wouldn't be practical...that and the fact that i don't want knitting to become a job, not from my own will.

Can you tell i'm starting to get stressed? Well i am. The pressure cooker's on high. Here's my place to rant. PMS isn't helping either. Give me a week or so.

In the meantime e-mail me happy, go-lucky messages at: bonnie84@hellokitty.com

I'm officially a kinesiology major!!! Whoopee! I'm no longer a lost/wandering student. Oh and my parents reply? "So you're almost done right?"....."umm uh huh, sure mom (avoiding eye contact)". it's snowing again!

"oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful, and since we've no place to go, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW!!!"

"Hi, uhh, my name is Bonnie and ummm, well I'm a umm, a WIP/UFO- aholic." So many works in progress, too many unfinished objects. My new year's resolution is to finish projects and restrain myself from starting any new ones. Umm, I cannot lie: I joined the "Hello Kitty Knitalong"
Oops. =^._.^= . And i also started a cabeled toque. Double oops. Oopsy daisy. I have absolutely no self control when it comes to all things cute and knitting.

lol, I'm gonna be 21 this year...my ass:

You Are 17 Years Old
17

Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.
13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.
20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.
30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!
40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.

You know it's cold when...

Your ice cube tray produces martian cubes:
104_0453
apparently this lil' cube was an aspiring popsicle.......wierd. Even Milo the pug thought it was odd.

I have blisters on both my index fingers. Today in my sports injuries lab we were learning to do proper ankle tape jobs for ankle inversion/eversion sprains. My wrap job was going great, good Df position, nice stirrups etc.....so what was holding me back? Ripping the daammmmnnnn athletic tape.....RIPPPPP!!!!GRRR..... "Rip it, and rip it good" i sang to myself......dang adhesive....i couldn't rip it to save my life....ruined my day (not really).

Oh and I dyed my hair last night. Here are the results:

BEFORE:
104_0432 104_0440
note: black roots gasping for some colour ( Yes, I spell "colour" w/ a "u" not "color", and "grey" w/ an "e" not "gray"...why? Because "I am Canadian!")

AFTER:
104_0496 104_0459

and here are some pics taken w/ the flash on:

104_0500 104_0476
oooh weee illuminated!

Not to shabby for colour from a box for only ten bucks no? The instructions said to apply to the ends and lengths first about 2-3 cm away from roots. Leave on for 20 min. Then apply the rest to roots. Leave 10 min more and rinse out. I don't like to read intructions. I slapped the stuff on to my head all at once.....concentrating on getting the roots saturated first....turned on the bathroom fan, made myself comfy on the toilet seat and read an old issue of Allure.....i exceeded the 30 min total...there were good articles in that issue.....oops.

And so it begins....again.

*UUGGHhhhhhh* back to school today. A new year, I'm prepared for but a new semester?Crap, not so sure. Let's face it I'm still in denial. **December15th --> January10th**. That my friend was my oooh so sweet winter time off from school. So you can understand my lack of willingness to roll myself out my warm cozy bed this morning (being careful not to roll on my pug who decided to sleep on my arm.....which i gotta mention was asleep and numb come morning...) and to wait in the freezing, cold snow-infested street for a bus that might pull up and spray dirty slush all over me....

Nevertheless, I managed to get to Mount Doom with my clothes still dry. Actually my prof. for my "Human Motor Sytem" course is pretty hilarious, she can tap dance! She looks and acts like Ms.Patty from Gilmore Girls :P (*note: watch Gilmore Girls if you haven't been doing so.). One lecture and a tutorial was all i had to endure but:
104_0412 (*note: crazy hair and pug bewildred of unconscious body, also don't fall asleep on living room couch where an anonymous sibling can take blackmail photos of you.)
I got home made a snack, watched a rerun of Conan O'Brian for like 5 minutes and was out cold for a good 3hrs. This is what happens after a month of going to sleep at 3 or 4 in the morning and not waking up till noon. Good advice: don't fall asleep with your contacts on.

Anyhoo, before school gets too hectic again...ie. less knit/crafty time, here's some knitty pics:

104_0414

An unfinished crochet hat. No pattern just made it up as i went along. I'm debating whether or not to include the flower and add a pink edge or not. Hmmm...

104_0418

The newbies in my yarn stash: The "Tosca" is 55% new wool and 45% acrylic and the "Breeze is 62% new wool and 38% Nylon.

104_0415

I have 2 balls of the "Tosca" (see above), it's "super kawaii" ("...harajuku girls you've got the wicked style..." umm...nevermind, just a Gwen Stefani song) and i'm thinking of making a wrap w/it. And finally:

104_0420

Because i'm eternally 6 yrs old--> My secret santa (Clara actually) got me a kacha-kacha row counter by Clover which i had been wanting for awhile now. Done a row?"click"...lol it reminds me of those people who count people entering the gates at some festival. I was at Staples last week getting a new binder for school and came across these Bic "Mark it" pens. It's basically a Sharpie knockoff, but hey it has grip! I got 2: Hot Aqua and Fandango Pink. That's right "Fandango" not flamingo or anything. And last a staple for me, Smackers lip sparkler in "Way-Out Watermelon", the smell reminds me of Jolly Rancher watermelon...mmmm.... Oh and the turtle? click this

Well that' s about all. Going to dye my hair. Hope the fumes won't knock me out.
